Our programmes aim to meet the objectives outlined in the Junior Cycle Physical Education curriculum.
Adventure activities at junior cycle provide students with the opportunity to develop personally, socially and physically in a safe and challenging environment. We aim to nurture self-reliance, self-confidence, responsibility and promote a respect for their environment.
Orienteering provides a great opportunity for children to work together as a team to navigate their way through our courses. Our Team Games and Challenges will develop good communication skills and problem solving.
Archery Tag® and Hoverball® provide an easy and exciting accessibility to archery and competitive games.
We provide Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Sit-on-Top Kayaking and Sea Kayaking. These are all suitable for swimmers and non-swimmers and can be catered to all levels and abilities. Getting out on the water provides great experiential learning opportunities in a safe environment.
Our programmes are designed around the demands of the national curriculum syllabus for junior and senior cycles. The outdoor environment is the perfect setting for personal and social growth, while developing a positive attitude towards adventure activities and acquiring the skills and techniques to do so.
